Baffles we have found on the market for Harley Davidson motorcycle drag pipes required a hole in the pipe for a retaining screw. Our baffles have an internal socket head screw and require no drilling. This screw locks the baffles in the pipes on your Harley. Self locking threads are used to prevent the lock screws from loosening due to vibration.
The baffles are short enough at 6" to allow installation and removal on most Harley motorcycles without need to remove either exhaust pipe. This makes temporary installation quick and easy.
With the baffles installed, there is a visible baffle at the end of the pipe. That can be important if you are required to have an annual inspection.
These baffles have almost 4 times the flow area of a stock muffler for low back pressure.
The baffles are available for 2" and 1 3/4" diameter drag pipes. Be sure to specify which size when ordering.
We have noticed that many drag pipe baffles are priced for each baffle. Our price is for one pair.

Installed Baffles

The sound reduction with our baffles is most noticable in the higher pitch sounds. That is the range that is most likely to get you in trouble. We measured the sound level with pipes open and then with the baffles installed. The sound pressure level was lowered approximately 10 db with baffles installed.
